Why Stay

Rise Up is best described as an adventure and sports camp, specializing in surfing and yoga. Located in Northern Nicaragua, the property sits on a cliff among fruit trees and beautiful gardens. One of the most well known but remote surf beaches is located on the south side of the lodge, while the other side overlooks a gentle bay perfect for beginner surfers. There are consistent waves all year round, and since Nicaragua's north coast is still considered untouched, it is perfect for surf exploration. Enjoy yoga overlooking the ocean, in between surfing lessons.

Why wander

Nicaragua is blessed with a scenic and diverse coastline with the Caribbean to the East and the Pacific to the West. Called ‘the land of lakes and volcanoes’, Nicaragua is ready for you to explore. Besides surfing and yoga, the green oasis is full of adventures. Visit la Isla Juan Venado mangrove reserve, the home to diverse wildlife such as crocodiles, iguanas, and raccoons. Take a fishing trip or stay on land and ride along the water on horseback. Visit Telica Volcano and see glowing lava or Cosigüina Volcano, with spectacular views, where you see  Nicaragua, Honduras and El Salvador meet. If you are brave enough, try Volcano Boarding, definitely the most unique activity Rise Up offers.

Indulge in

Tostones (fried green plantain), Ceviche, Fish tacos with Nicaraguan slaw.
