Why stay

Going to La Digue Island is like going back in time. Embrace Seychelles' warm hospitality and small island life approach. La Digue Lodge is situated within a garden of coconut palms and takamaka trees, next to Anse Reunion beach. There are many wonderful choices for accommodation, like the Frame Chalet, with its unique teepee shape and thatched roof. Choose one next to the sea or in a quiet tropical garden. A Beach House has an incredible view of the Praslin island and the Union Challet faces calm azure waters.

Why wander

You are lucky to be on the same island as the most beautiful and photographed beach in the world (as chosen by National Geographic) - Anse Source D'argent. Ride your bike from the lodge and arrive to golden white sands with chiseled rocks and secret caves, leading up to the perfect turquoise ocean. For surfing and stronger waves visit the Grande Anse beach, with a lush forest backdrop. Anse Marron Beach is reminiscent “Robinson Crusoe” and also a must. If you are looking for adventure and activity, make sure to explore the Indian Ocean by fishing and diving - it still holds a lot of undiscovered gems. History and culture lovers should visit Union Estate Park, a large estate with giant roaming tortoises and horses. For a perfect tropical finale, visit the Copra Mill - where dried coconut flesh and coconut oil are produced.

Indulge in

Tropical drinks made from a coconut growing next to your hut. Fried fish.
