It is absolutely perfect for water sports, such as snorkelling, kayaking, sailing or surfing. You can also explore the surrounding area by bike or on horseback, and see the famous Tamarindo sunsets. For a day trip of Costa Rican adventure, we recommend Hiking at Rincon de la Vieja National Park, where you can hike through the nearest active volcano, experience a volcanic mud bath and enjoy the thermal water of the hot springs surrounded by raniforest scenery. Visit the Arenal Volcano National Park where the red lava flow will amaze you. Hike through the Tenorio Volcano National Park for a blue lagoon waterfall and rich biodiversity. At Barra Honda National Park, you will find underground caves with amazing stalactite and stalagmite formations.

Getting There
Captain Suizo is located 4 hours by car or 45 minutes by air from San José International Airport. Liberia International Airport is only a 50-minute drive away. Organize a Transportation Service from Liberia Airport with the hotel.
