WHY STAY

Domes White Coast Milos is an adults-only boutique hotel on the surreal white rocky coast of Milos, Greece. Located on a private nature preserve, the seafront retreat is an intimate oasis of Mediterranean luxury.

There are 30 suites, each with a private pool and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Aegean sea and the same moonlike coastline as the infamous Sarakiniko beach. The architecture is inspired by modern Cycladic simplicity, while the design is reflective of the island’s neutral-toned landscapes. White Coast practices sustainability by supporting local production, culture, and gastronomy.

WHY WANDER

The island is home to over 75 of the most beautiful beaches in all of Greece. Rent an ATV and visit the peaceful Mitakas, the surreal Sarakiniko, or the charming fishing village of Mandrakia in the north; the hidden beaches of Sykia caves in the west; the cliffside rock formations of Kleftiko in the south; or the picturesque Thiorichia in the east. Geologists will love a trip to the Geological Museum of the Cyclades, where they will discover the island’s unique volcanic history. Lastly, spend the day on a boat, to appreciate Milos from the sea.

INDULGE IN

Floating bar cocktails in your private infinity pool (offered as a welcome amenity). Enjoy Mediterranean + Italian fusion at the hotel’s restaurant Bianco. For lunch with a view, visit Medusa restaurant in Mandrakia. Try locally produced wines and olive oil.

GETTING THERE

Get a flight from Athens, and arrange the airport pickup with the hotel.

WHY STAY

Skinopi Lodge is a secluded seafront retreat on the mythical island of Milos, Greece. Steps away from the Aegean Sea, the hideaway is located below Trypiti, a charming hilltop village within a protected archaeological site, and 2 km from the port of Adamas. The 7 individual villas have been co-created by Kokkinou-Kourkoulas (a Greek architecture firm) with the help of a landscape artist, perfectly complimenting the surroundings.

Enjoy the minimal design of white-washed walls and charcoal-grey linen. See the surrounding sea and olive trees through floor-to-ceiling windows. Watch boats sail over the horizon. Immerse yourself in the Cyclades’ slow lifestyle.

Skinopi is committed to honoring Milos’ traditions, history, and environment. By building without disrupting the landscape, being part of initiatives to preserve endangered marine life, and involving its guests with the local community, the lodge offers a truly sustainable stay experience.

WHY WANDER

Enjoy natural hot springs steps below the villa. Explore the rocky island by ATV. Visit the surreal white rocks of Sarakiniko Bay. Sail to the Cave of Papafragas and the Glaronisia islets, and visit the famous caves of Kleftiko and Sykia aboard Skinopi’s own boat. Hike to the top of the archeological site of Nichia, dating back to 3,000 BC. Visit the chapel of Saint Nikolas and Pelekouda where, according to tradition, the couple that sits on the small rock chair will be together forever.

INDULGE IN

Enjoy daily breakfast baskets with freshly baked bread, Greek yogurt, granola, and fresh fruit, delivered to the villa each morning. Visit Medusa restaurant for the views and stay for the incredible food. Try octopus with capers; grilled prawns; stuffed peppers, and truly remarkable olive oil.

GETTING THERE

Take a ferry or fly from Athens.
