Room + Wild is the leading platform dedicated to landscape hotels, ecotourism, and nature-based travel. Our mission is to inspire and influence through stories of design, sustainability, and environmental stewardship — raising awareness of landscape architecture, native biodiversity, and the enduring wisdom of past cultures. At the heart of everything we do is a belief in well-being through exploration and a deeper connection to the earth.

We work with more than 400 landscape hotels around the world, each one offering more than just an extraordinary stay in nature. These retreats set new standards for sustainability, wellness, and design while supporting their environments through regenerative initiatives. Guests are invited not only to immerse themselves in wild beauty but also to take part in preserving it, making each journey as impactful as it is unforgettable.

Wild Initiatives are the living foundations behind these remarkable hotels — commitments that extend far beyond hospitality. They include reforestation projects, wildlife conservation, community education, and cultural preservation, often carried out directly by the properties themselves. These hotels do more than offset their footprint; they actively restore the landscapes they inhabit. Room + Wild has teamed up with the Calanoa Amazonas Hotel to showcase one-of-a-kind photography portraying the Mocagua Village of the Colombian Amazon, beautifully captured by its young inhabitants. The unique collection of prints is available for sale with 100% of the profits going to the Calanoa Foundation.
