Authentic Greek island life. Family hospitality. Falling asleep in the sun after a long lunch. Fish caught before your eyes. Postcard sea views.
May to September.
Nobelos is a family-owned seaside hotel and restaurant in the north of the beautiful Greek island of Zakynthos. Located 500 metres from the port of Saint Nicholas, and close to the famous Blue Caves and the little cove of Agios Nikolaos, the secret hideaway offers an unparalleled authentic island experience.
There are only 4 seaside suites, built from stone and inspired by the classic architectural style of the island. Each suite is filled with antique art, handmade furniture, and traditional Greek lace.
Fall asleep to the Ionian Sea outside of your window. Relax on the private beach. Enjoy slow living and warm hospitality.
Rent an ATV to explore Zakynthos freely. Discover tiny farms and charming villages. Drive to the infamous Navagio Beach Viewpoint. Take a refreshing swim in Xigia Caves and Salt Springs. Get out on the water and take in coastal views of Kefalonia and the blue caves. Visit the nearby uninhabited island of Marathonisi (known as Turtle Island) for a unique daytime adventure.
The restaurant is a destination in itself. Enjoy some of the best Mediterranean seafood Zakynthos has to offer, cooked in traditional wood ovens. Most of the produce is grown on Nobelos’ own organic farm.
Take a short taxi ride from the airport.

ZAKYNTHOS
Design-lovers. Soul-seekers. Dreamy minimalists. Couples on the verge of something new. Sunset chasers and spa wanderers.
Floating in a turquoise pool at golden hour. Waking to birdsong and island breeze. Slipping into your private jacuzzi under a soft lavender sky. A glass of Assyrtiko by the fire pit. Breathwork, stillness, and views that open you.
May to mid-June and September to October. Expect warm, sunlit days, cooler evenings, fewer crowds, and the scent of citrus and cypress in the air. Late spring brings blooming wildflowers; early fall brings sea-warm swims and golden light.
Perched on a verdant hillside overlooking the Ionian Sea, Olea All Suite Hotel is an adults-only sanctuary cradled by olive groves and framed by the rolling green contours that make Zakynthos one of the most lush islands in the Cyclades. The geography here is soft yet striking - forested hills drop into turquoise bays, while Olea’s design echoes the fluidity of the land itself.
The architecture flows like a river, with curved edges, warm stone, and suites that spill into the hotel’s fluid heart: a vast, lagoon-like pool that winds through tropical plantings. Inside, the suites are open, earthy, and serene - some with private jacuzzis or swim-up decks, all with effortless views.
Daily yoga and signature Olea rituals at the spa offer deep rest, while every detail - from the scent of the linens to the layout of the light - feels designed for pause and reconnection. Here, luxury is found in balance: open space and thoughtful intimacy, clean lines and organic textures, silence and the soundtrack of cicadas and sea wind.
Zakynthos may be known for its beaches, but Olea invites a deeper relationship with the island. Head inland and discover stone villages, wild herbs perfuming the air, and secret trails that lead to ancient olive trees. Swim in the Ionian Sea at sunrise, explore blue caves by kayak, or let a local guide take you to a mountaintop monastery still lit by candlelight.
Rent an ATV and drive to the picture-perfect Navagio Beach Viewpoint. Explore the island and pass through tiny farms and charming villages. Take a refreshing swim in Xigia Caves and Salt Springs. Get out on the water and see Zakynthos from the sea. Take in coastal views to Kefalonia and the blue caves.
More than a beach destination, Zakynthos is a place of stories - of Venetian architecture, hidden chapels, and endangered loggerhead turtles. Olea encourages this slower, more conscious exploration of place - one that connects you to land, culture, and something inside yourself that’s longed for stillness.
Locally sourced Greek cuisine with a modern touch. Wildflower cocktails and fresh seafood at O Restaurant. Slow breakfasts with mountain honey and sun-ripened fruit. Vegan tasting menus and holistic spa therapies inspired by Ionian botanicals.
Creative Mediterranean cuisine at Olea’s onsite restaurant. Five different kinds of local honey. Three types of feta cheese. A Greek yogurt bar. Frappes (Greek iced coffee). Cocktails made with Mastiha (local liqueur). Flavours and produce unique to Zakynthos.
Fly into Zakynthos International Airport (ZTH), just a 15-minute drive to Olea. Transfers can be arranged through the hotel, and car rentals are recommended if you plan to explore the island’s quieter corners.
Olea is rooted in respect for nature, for culture, for wellness. The hotel operates with an eco-conscious philosophy: solar power, native landscaping, low-impact architecture, and a commitment to plastic-free practices. Much of the food is organic and sourced locally, with an emphasis on plant-based nutrition. Their spa partners with local herbalists and uses natural Greek ingredients, while Olea’s architecture itself is a study in biophilic design, inviting light, air, and water into every space. More quietly, Olea supports island conservation efforts, including marine protection for the endangered Caretta caretta turtles.
