Enjoy views of the Arctic Sea, mysterious islands and icy mountain peaks in the distance, all framed by large windows and cozy interiors. The Hideaway consists of a collection of 10 tiny houses, each created for sleeping, eating, and bathing. Enjoy a complete and total escape from everyday life, raw nature, and surreal landscapes. Creatives can apply to be the artist in residence and receive a complimentary stay.

The Bolder

NORWAY

The Bolder is a remarkable architectural project consisting of off-grid cabins suspended high above Norway's Lysefjorden. These unique accommodations, known as The Bolder Sky Lodges and Star Lodges, offer guests an extraordinary experience, with minimalistic design and natural materials that seamlessly blend with the surrounding nature. The Sky Lodges, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, are perched on a single steel pillar and offer 22 square meters of living space, including two bedrooms, a kitchen, and a bathroom. In the second phase of the project, four additional one-room cabins, named Stylten, Myra, Stjerna, and Eldhuset, designed by the renowned Norwegian architecture firm Snøhetta, were added to the property, further enhancing the unique charm of The Bolder.

Juvet Landscape Hotel

Juvet is one of the original landscape hotels, incorporating pure Scandinavian nature with modern, functional design, created by the Norwegian architects Jensen and Skodvin. Originally a 17th-century farm, the hotel is located in Valldal, Norway, surrounded by mountains and streams, with the name itself meaning ‘canyon’. The seven landscape rooms are built individually into the landscape along the bank of the Valldøla river. No room is designed the same, with all the furniture being locally produced in the region of Sunnmøre. The architect's vision of achieving a sense of well-being with minimal design comes through with floor-to-ceiling windows, which let light and nature in. See the mountains from your bed as soon as you open your eyes. Alternatively, stay in one of two Bird Houses amongst the trees or the 2 bedroom Writer’s Lodge complete with a terrace and a workspace.
